Ann Pichette

EVP, Managing Director

After a 25-year career heading advertising initiatives at world-class agencies including Ogilvy, Leo Burnett and DraftWorldwide, Ann joined Zacks Investment Research in 2012 to launch Zacks Direct. Since then, she and her team have helped a range of companies/issuers/funds raise capital by generating leads directly from investors.

Ann focuses on new business development and client relationship management, working closely with clients to shape their advertising strategies and messages. She holds a BA in psychology, and an MBA in Marketing.

Chen Segal-Janecek

EVP, Director of Operations

Prior to joining Zacks Direct, Chen served as a Client Director at Publicis Israel, where she managed integrated advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. With over 12 years of industry experience and an MBA concentrating on marketing and strategy, she brings a seasoned perspective and a foundational knowledge of how to build successful campaigns.

Chen oversees all aspects of the process including creative content, scheduling, production, budget, execution and results tracking. In addition, she leads the advertising and marketing efforts for many of Zacks’ diverse internal product departments.

JB Israel

SVP, Creative Director

As the Agency’s Creative Director, JB is responsible for the overall creative direction and development of each campaign. He works closely with Ann to translate client business requirements into effective communications.

In addition to overseeing the creative, JB is heavily involved on the design and coding side, ensuring that client communications retain maximum effectiveness across digital platforms, including social media and mobile applications. He is a graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Glenn Meyers

SVP, Media Director

A veteran media strategist, Glenn analyzes and customizes a client’s media plan to reach the most suitable investors. Prior to joining Zacks Direct, Glenn managed Zacks Vertical Reach Media and created a targeted model to capture key data on investors, resulting in higher response and conversion rates for clients and better e-RPMs for publishers.

Prior to joining Zacks, he developed media programs for CFM Direct, Econometrics, J. Walter Thompson, Capital One, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Chevrolet and Farmers Insurance. Glenn received his BS from Indiana State University and pursued graduate work in business marketing at Xavier University.

Andrew Heckman

VP, Associate Creative Director

Andrew’s background includes more than a decade of experience writing for financial services firms, starting with what is now Deutsche Asset Management in Chicago, where he was alternately Manager of Shareholder Communications and Manager of Broker Communications. He has also done freelance marketing writing for an array of companies ranging from industrial manufacturers to biotech companies.

His ability to write effectively on a wide variety of topics enables him to produce informative, compelling copy for Zacks Direct’s diverse client base. He has degrees in Journalism and Digital Film, and has passed the Series 7 exam.
